"Mom, this is a great book. Can you read me this great book?"
Austin, Mommy is still a little tired, let me read it to you in just a little bit, okay?
"Don't worry, mom, I'll just ask Dad to read it. Dad is a really good reader. Did you know that he knows how to read?"

A few hours later, I was working on end of the year scrapbooks for the children in my class. Austin grabbed my box of glue sticks.
"Mom, he said, I just need to play with these for just a little while."
Austin, I need for you to wait just a minute so I can get you paper and something to glue.
"Don't worry, mom, I am going to be real gentle."
"
Trust me, Austin, it is not the gentle that I worry about. It is wondering how many spider man fruit snacks are going to be glued to my coffee table.

And just a few minutes ago, I was trying to clean my shower. Austin bounded in and cheerily asked,
Mom, can I help you?
Sure, buddy, but let me... and as I turned around I saw it. Austin
My voice was loud! Austin, what did you do?
Oh, mom, Don't Worry!

Oh, Em! Did you pray for patience this week or something? :)
Hey - did you try the Magic Eraser? I know it takes Sharpie off of doors and walls. Not sure about 3 yr old boys, though.
