Mr. Short Term Memory

My car ride home today...

Austin singing... "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P..."

Long pause.

"Mom, did I remember to sing M?"

"Yes, Austin, you sang M."

"Oh, Okay." In a louder voice, "A, B, C, D, E, F, G..."

Long pause.

"Mom, did I remember to say F?"

"Yes, Austin, you said F."

"Okay, mom." Louder yet, "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O..."

"Mom?"

"Yes, Austin."

"Are you sure I remembered M?"

"Yes, sweetheart, you remembered."

"Okay." In his loudest voice, "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z."

Then he sighs and says, "Wow, mom, that was hard today."

You are telling me kid:)

That's hysterical! He really cracks me up... I have no idea what he's going to be when he grows up, but I guarantee you, we're all going to remember these stories and say, "Yep! It figures! We should have known!"
