Miss Megan

As most of you know, this has been a very difficult year in the life of our family.

In October, however, two precious girls were born right in the midst of some of our greatest pain. So many verses remind me of God's faithfulness to our family in the midst of hardship. As I look into the faces of both Megan and Avery (now 6 months old), I am reminded of the Lord's faithfulness in the midst of pain.

I also LOVE having two nieces as new models for my growing interest in photography. Today, I would love to share some new pictures of Megan and tomorrow I will share Avery!

I hope that these verses and pictures will bring you great joy!

"Merciful and faithful Lord, because of Your great love I am not consumed, for Your compassions are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him." Lord, You are good those whose hope is in You, to the one who seeks You." Lamentations 3:22-25

"You, Soverign Lord, are my strength; You make my feet like the feet of a deer, You enable me to go ont he heights." Habbakkuk 3:17-19

"Lord, I don't want to waver through unbelief regarding Your promises, but I desire to be strengthened in my faith and give glory to You, God, being fully persuaded that You have power to do what you promise." Romans 4:20-21

I cry out to you, "God Most High, to You who fulfills Your purpose for me. You send from heaven and save me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me. You send Your love and Your faithfulness." Psalm 57:2-3

"We often see ourselves as fragile, breakable souls. We live in fear of that which we are certain we can't survive. As children of God, we are only as fragile as our unwillingness to turn and hide our face in Him. Our pride alone is fragile. Once its shell is broken and the heart is laid bare, we can sense the caress of God's tender care. Until then, He holds us just the same." - Beth Moore
